Text Box: LEWISBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT Lewisburg, Tennessee Text Box: The Lewisburg Police Patrol Division is made up of four squads, each led by a Sergeant and Corporal. These squads work 12-hour shifts and provide 24/7 patrol coverage for the City of Lewisburg. Patrol Officers handle a wide variety of calls for service along with enforcing traffic laws, investigating traffic crashes and handling special assignments. These officers also conduct residential checks while residents are out of town, as well as checking businesses after normal business hours. Patrol Officers prepare written reports, take witness statements, collect evidence and provide testimony in court.
