Detective Unit

The Lewisburg Police Department has a Detective Sergeant and three Detectives.  This unit handles the follow-up investigation on major cases as well as those cases that are beyond the resources of our Patrol Division.

 

The cases handled by this unit range from vandalism to homicide.  The detectives receive specialized training in areas of investigative processes, crime scene investigation, interview and interrogation, surveillance, violent crimes investigation, etc.  Some detectives also receive more specialized training in areas like arson investigation, sex offenders and child sex crimes investigation.
